2010 Best Toronto Condo Projects (by The Star.com)
These five projects have been considered the best so far in Toronto.
- The Republic ((70 Roehampton Ave. and 25 Broadway Ave.): one complex consists of a high school and two condo buildings. It sounded almost impossible not so long ago. This midtown project is a triumph of urban mixed use.
- Three buildings complex -Corktown District Lofts (52 Sumach Street, 549 and 569 King Street E.): They are registered as one condo. Full of character historic but run-down part of the city gets an innovative turn.
- Arc Condo (2885 Bayview Ave.): A brave try to brake the monotonous residential area landscape with something modern, different, even whimsical.
- 60 Richmond str. E : Community housing building. Very unique for this type of use. It catches the eye being wonderful addition to the streetscape.
- Maple Leaf Square (Bremner Blvd. east of York St.): Heavily loaded with all kinds of activities, business and personal. Two condo buildings, offices, hotel, restaurants, shopping and sports bar.
